Operating Principle
All lasers have a target. When discussing lasers for hair removal their target is melanin. Melanin is what gives our skin and hair it’s colour. The darker and thicker the hair the better the results will be. Laser will not work on blonde, white or grey hair. How does it work? The laser identifies the target and heats up the hair, this in turn damaged the cells in the follicle. The laser will only be effective when the hair is in the follicle (anagen) this is why multiple sessions of treatment will be necessary to treat all the hairs in the correct stage.
